Out of every 1000 children born, 2-3 are born with detectable hearing loss, and many of these children are born to hearing or non-deaf parents who have little to no experience with ASL. Lacking motivation, knowledge, and support, many of these parents do not understand the importance of teaching their children ASL. Sign Quest aims to alleviate this issue by helping deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their hearing families learn and practice ASL together in a fun and easily accessible board game.
