Circle Cycle

To empower youth and increase mobility in the CU community, Circle Cycle promotes bicycles as a vehicle for social change. Circle Cycle’s mission is to upcycle abandoned bikes to help students obtain the transportation they deserve. By partnering with the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club and the Cunningham Children's Home, Circle Cycle teaches kids how to fix abandoned bikes through an Earn-A-Bike program. This past semester, we paired with Cunningham to lead a group of students through a week long curriculum that resulted in the students taking home bikes they repaired.

Next spring will also be the fourth annual Bike-A-Thon, an event in which community members join us for a ride around campus and stop for games and treats.

This upcoming semester, Circle Cycle will work on continuing both programs while reworking marketing efforts to increase sponsorships, bikers, and community engagement. The future is bright and spinning for Circle Cycle!
